In this area, even Arlberg regulars are often accompanied by a guide. Skiers looking for a true challenge can doff their skis and climb two hours up the Schafberg and enjoy the pristine Mehlsack run. The ascent is also possible by helicopter. But the Madloch slopes also offer sheer skiing fun. Wide, untouched slopes alternate with challenging moguls. A short switchback down to the Gstut hut, and you can meet both athletic wonders and Palmenalpe regulars, who take the offshoot to the Zug lift and complete their rounds of the Madloch with a tour through the Lech scene. The less ambitious skier can slide comfortably down the slope towards Lech. |
