    Slopes in the Lech area

Left or right? It's the deciding question at the beginning of a day of skiing in Lech. Up to the Rufikopf to let the snow fly in Zurs, or warm up first and go up to the Mohnenfluh? Such tough decisions are a little easier since the invention of the extremely contoured skis especially designed for carving. The left lift up to the Schlegelkopf (lines are shorter than for the modern four seater bubble gondolas), and the mountain station, take a look over to the Kriegerhornbahn. The urge to jump right in can be overwhelming - the best carving slope in the entire area begins directly below the station. What the run lacks in length, it makes up for in pitch and width. Perfect for the first wide, thrilling curves.
