From
the first moment on:

Strolz
ski boots combine traditional craftsmanship with the
power of technical innovation. The foundation
stone for this philosophy was laid in 1921 by Ambros
Strolz in Lech. In his shoemaker workshop on the
Arlberg, he manufactured ski boots for the very first
ski sport enthusiasts.

Following
in Ambros Strolz's footsteps, his son Martin
successfully further expanded the company on the
Arlberg. His experience as master orthopedic
shoemaker, racer and runner-up downhill word champion
expanded the know-how quite considerably. A
result of this experience: Strolz has equipped the
Austrian and many other successful national ski teams
for more than 25 years. In the 70's a new era
dawned for the ski boot manufacture. The revolution
was triggered by the use of plastic for constructing
the shell. Strolz brought his first
plastic-shell boot model "Competition" on to
the market. A short time later, a new fitting
system was invented: The
"Foam-Fitting-System", that Strolz still
uses today. For handcrafted, accurately fitting
originals with unique run characteristic.

The
new generation:

Our
design is adapted to your requirements. Comfort
and functionality are the central focus. We have
proved for decades, that our ski boots unite both
demands. Just as Martin Strolz combined his
experience as master orthopedic shoemaker and alpine
racer, Hannes Strolz has expanded his acquired
shoemaking craft by studying design for 4 years.
We develop our know-how further. When
manufacturing ski boots, we incorporate the latest
discoveries in material research and orthopedics.
That's why each Strolz ski boot generation sets new
standards. In fitting form, wear comfort and
power transmission.
Today Strolz belongs to the best three Sport shops in
the Alps. Our success is customer service and a
very large product line.
Our retail fields are: Skifashon, Fashion, Snowboard,
Snowboardfashon, Skis, Ski boots, Ski Service, Rental
and lots more.
In wintertime we employ 120 staff which are working in
10 shops on the Arlberg.
